Re: whats your juicer?
Sun, July 10, 2005 - 9:10 AMI've had a Juiceman Juicer for years, they're relatively inexpensive for the quality ($60 - $100, not sure, haven't bought one in years). It's lasted a long time with a lot of use. -

Re: whats your juicer?
Mon, August 1, 2005 - 10:18 AMI had a cheaper version made by one of the mid-line manufacturers of small appliances. Frustrating to clean.
Yesterday, I got a Juiceman for about $50 at Walmart. It was a lot cheaper than the last time I had priced them. Easier to clean, seems more sturdy. -

Re: whats your juicer?
Wed, August 3, 2005 - 7:56 PMI had a Krups, I thought it was kind of inefficient. So I found a Champion used for $100, and it rocks my socks off. Too bad juicers are a pain in the ass to clean. -

Re: whats your juicer?
Wed, August 24, 2005 - 8:58 AMHey I have a Samson masticating juicer (as opposed to a bladed centrifugal). Maybe it's called something different in the States, but I find it much easier than the Greenlife to clean - it's a doddle in fact. The Greenlife is an exceptional piece of equipment but the Samson still does a brilliant job. It has less parts to clean and less fiddly. It has one large screw thing which carrys and squeezes the contents through to a conical seive and squeezes the pulp bone dry. It also comes with a blank seive to create butters, pate, frozen raw ice cream etc. In fact, does everything the Greelife does but is cheaper and much less fiddly.

Re: whats your juicer?
Thu, September 1, 2005 - 2:20 PMI have a "healthy juicer" too. Its kinda crappy, but you can manage some soft veggies: it does do wheatgrass and greens, but dont dare try carrots or anything like that. BUT: you can travel with it! Its so small and lightweight. I like it for that reason mainly.
