I'm doing a four week one too! Whooohoooo! Yay for Spring Cleaning. Here's how mine will look. If you're new to fasting you should modify this...it might be too hard core for ya...

7 days of raw food (salads, nuts, fruit only)
3 days of juice (fresh mostly, carrot, beet, ginger, some smoothies (see my joys of juicing tribe!)
9 days of the Master cleanse (see post listing about the master cleanse for more info and websites)
    3 days of juice again

then for a follow up i plan to do
    6 days of raw food
    7 days of vegan food

slowly returning to some fish in my diet...but i'm afraid my mercury levels are totally through the roof already :*( i luv sushi...i dont' count the sushi as part of my raw diet though.

i cheat sometimes if i have to by making a veggie broth and drinking it and maybe eating some of the veggies...there are lots of books on detox diets...i suggest reading one to get more info on how your body will react with flu-like symptoms, irritability, etc...and that those phases will pass eventually.

    good for you! good luck!

So, my friend Petey says that I should only do 6 days of the Master Cleanse and that anything beyond that is breaking down and using up stuff I should keep in my body...I'm not totally sure what that means, but he's an old-timer and I trust his judgement...so I'm modifying my fast to only do 5-6 days on the MC. I just wanted to let you guys know...as far as the hot springs...that sounds awesome! But...I'm trying to conserve my money...so I'll have to pass, but let us know how it goes :)

    when does it start?
guess icouldcheck on line, but i am wanting to cleanse and was going to see if somebody wanted to buddy up with me because it is a little easier to do with a support system than alone...

i havent done any classes there, but have heard good things.

hi and im back to report that i had a few hours of amazement at sacred space this week. for one, i had a live blood analysis. i dont know if you have really looked at your blood cells lately, but my goodness, not so pretty when yer looking through the scope...anyway, im not sure if im going to do their cleanse this time around, but i recommend going there and useing the facilities and also getting a consult. a lot of support even if you dont want to do a group thing.

thanks for the responses. now. has anyone ever been to the "we care spa" in desert hot springs? im going in march, also recommend it highly. its a detoxing retreat. its mellow. anyone want to go ?

I was planning on going to Harbin Hot Springs and doing my own detox, fasting routine. Tell me more about the spa. Especially prices. Harbin is super cheap with camping at $25 a night which includes use of the facilities and yoga twice a day. If its comparable in price, I would for sure go with you (unless you want to come to Harbin with me!)
